Samsung’s latest ultra-thin, ultra-portable Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G is now available to order online. The ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G is powered by the latest 4th Gen Intel Core Haswell processor and features a superb 13-inch QHD+ display with a native resolution of 3200×1800 (275 PPI). The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G is powered by the latest 4th gen Intel Core i5-4200U Haswell processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 that comes with the Haswell processor. But what sets the ATIV Book 9 Plus from other Ultrabooks is the 13.3-Inch QHD+ display with a native resolution of 3200×1800 and a 275 pixels per inch density. The display also has SuperBright technology that is capable of up to 350 nits of brightness.

Since the ATIV Book 9 Plus will be running on Windows 8, you can enjoy the 10-point touch display including all the multi-touch features incorporated in Windows 8. The display has a 16:9 aspect ratio meaning that 1080p Full HD content is fully supported without the need to upscale. You can also stream media using the Intel Wireless Display or WiDi technology, or simply using the micro HDMI port.

Aside from its great display, the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G is also super slim and light, making it ultra-portable, that would rival even Apple’s MacBook Air and Asus Zenbook Prime Touch. It’s only 0.5″ inch thick and weighs 2.56lbs, while the MacBook Air and Zenbook Prime Touch are 0.68″/2.96lbs and 0.7″/2.9lbs respectively. By the way, model numbers and names of Ultrabooks can get pretty much confusing. There are other ATIV Book 9 out there but are not powered by the latest Intel Core Haswell processor and doesn’t have a QHD+ display. Check the model number, it should be Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G.
