MSI has unleashed an array of gaming laptops and notebooks, all armed with the latest next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series discrete graphics processor. Today, let’s take a look at the more affordable line of MSI gaming laptop – the MSI GE60 Apache Pro and GE60 Apache-033.

Both gaming laptops are powered by the 4th generation Intel Core i7-4700HQ Haswell Quad-Core processor, and the latest GeForce GTX 860M and GTX 850M respectively. MSI GE60 Apache Gaming Laptop Features

The MSI GE60 Apache Pro is an affordable gaming laptop that is designed to cater to the needs of mobile gamers. Under the GE60 Apache’s hood is a powerful Intel Core i7 4700HQ Quad-Core Haswell processor, paired with an 8GB of RAM that can be upgraded up to 16GB.

The GE60 Apache Pro is powered by a GeForce GTX 860M, while the GE60 Apache-033 is powered by a GeForce GTX 850M. Obviously, the GTX 860M is better than the GTX 850M. It also features a nice 15.6-inch LCD Panel in LED backlight display with Full HD resolution at 1920×1080.

With the MSI GE60 Apache series, you have lots of storage options. The GE60 Apache Pro-033 comes with a 1TB 7200rpm hard disk drive, while the non-pro comes only with a 1TB 5400 HDD rpm drive. But there are two mSATA slots available where you can install 2 more mSATA SSD and can be configured in RAID0 or Super RAID giving you read/write speeds of up to 900MB/s. It also features Killer™ E2200 Game Networking and Intel Dual Band Wireless AC for smarter, faster, networking for all online entertainment.

The MSI GE60 Apache gaming laptops feature a customizable keyboard with SteelSeries Engine so that you can personalize your play style. It also features XSplit Gamecaster for easily recording gaming moments, broadcasting, and sharing live gameplay sessions to YouTube, Twitch, UStream, and more.
