The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 is one of the latest convertible Ultrabook from Lenovo and is powered by the latest 4th gen Intel Haswell processor. The Lenovo Flex 14 (and its big brother Flex 15) is actually a “value” variant of the Yoga series. But unlike the Yoga, the display can only bend back up to 300 degrees turning it into a tablet with a stand. See features, specs, price, and where you can buy below.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 Specs and Features
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 features a 14-inch 10-point multi-touch display with a resolution of 1366×768 at 16:9 aspect ratio. It’s only 0.85-inch thick and weighs just 4.4 lbs. It also features an AccuType keyboard which is ergonomically designed to make typing more comfortable.
Under the hood, the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 is powered by a 4th gen Intel Core Haswell processor; either Core i3-4010U, Core i5-4200U, or Core-i7 4500U. The processor is paired with up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM clocked at 1600MHz. It runs on Windows 8 64-bit and you will have the option to choose from a 500GB hard drive or 128GB/256GB SSD for its storage. Graphics processing is handled by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 that comes with the Intel Haswell processor.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 has an integrated 720p HD camera with Array mic and comes with basic connectivity functions such as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, card reader, HDMI port, VGA port, and LAN port. Just like what I said earlier, the Lenovo Flex 14’s display can be flip backward, but only up to 300 degrees only, turning it into a “tablet withstand”. Watch the Lenovo Flex in action below.
