Intel’s Harris Beach SDS Ultrabook for Developers is one Ultrabook that we won’t probably be seeing in stores. Intel designed it for system developers and software developments. But the Harris Beach Ultrabook is said to have some of the latest technologies, like its powered by the latest 4th gen Intel Haswell processor, and so on. I know we might not get one of these soon, or ever, but for those who are interested to know more about Intel’s latest developer Ultrabook, continue reading below.
The Intel Harris Beach SDS Ultrabook is powered by an Intel Core i5-4350U Haswell processor clocked at 1.4GHz with a maximum Turbo clocked speed of 2.9GHz. The processor is paired with only 4GB of RAM and its graphics processor is taken care of by an Intel HD 5000 integrated GPU that comes with the Haswell CPU.
I’m not sure if its a 13-inch or 14-inch display, but the display is a 5-point multi-touchscreen that has a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080. It also features a 128GB Intel 530 series NGFF SSD and comes with a SIM card slot with 21Mbps HSPA+ 3G connectivity, as well as Near Field Communication (NFC).
The Intel Harris Beach Ultrabook runs on Windows 8 Pro and comes with an HID sensor set. Its keyboard is backlit, has TPM 2.0, Dual array mic, and WiDi capable. It has some connectivity options such as USB 3.0, micro HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack, and SD card reader, as well as the SIM card slot.
