GIGABYTE P35K Features
The Gigabyte P35K runs on Windows 8 (Pro) operating system offering significant improvement in speed, security, and reliability. I know there are lots of people who prefer Windows 7 over Windows 8, but Windows 8 is not that bad at all once you become used to it. Too bad the display is not touched so you can’t take advantage of the touch feature of Windows 8.
It features a 15.6-inch Full HD (IPS) LCD Display at 1920×1080 with an anti-glare feature, perfect for your gaming needs. The Gigabyte P35K is powered by the latest 4th gen Intel Core i7-4700HQ Quad-Core Haswell processor with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600. When in gaming mode, graphics processing is handled by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M discrete graphics processor with 2GB GDDR5 dedicated memory and supports NVIDIA Optimus, NVIDIA PhysX, and DirectX11 Technology.
The Gigabyte P35K is able to pack up to two 512GB mSATA SSD and two 1TB HDD (total up to 3TB of storage), thanks to its quad-storage hybrid system. It’s able to deliver 1000MB/s and 850MB/s read/write speeds with the mSATA SSD in RAID 0 mode. Gamers and graphics designers would definitely benefit this feature.
It features a removable ODD/HDD slot giving gamers the freedom of slotting in the device according to your own preference. Likewise, gamers can slot in an empty case to maximize mobility and travel light. The Gigabyte P35K also features an Electroluminescence backlit keyboard – an automatic light sensing backlit keyboard that adjusts the light to external conditions proving a better typing and gaming experience when in dimly lit or dark room conditions.
Most gaming laptops are bulky and heavy, but not the Gigabyte P35K. It has a super slim body design with only 21mm at its thickest point and weighs only around 2.2kg. Check the rest of its features from the specifications table below. Obviously this will compete with the Razer Blade 14 and MSI GS70 Stealth who also features a slim body.
