Dell Precision M3800 Workstation Specs
The Dell Precision M3800 is probably the slimmest and lightest workstation laptop yet. It’s only 18mm thin and weighs starting 4.5lbs only. The Precision M3800 is powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core i7 Quad-Core processor paired with an NVIDIA Quadro graphics card.
Aside from the muscle power, the Dell Precision M3800 also features a beautiful 3,200 x 1,800 QHD+ multi-touch IGZO display. It also features an Independent Software Vendor certification making sure that even demanding and specialized software will run on the M3800 at its fullest potential without any problems.
Dell hasn’t disclosed yet regarding its storage capacity and memory size. But it was previously reported that the Precision M3800 will have 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD (probably a 72000 RPM hard drive), or a 512GB Solid State Drive (SSD).
Dell also didn’t mention anything about the Precision M3800 price yet. But expect that this workstation is not cheap considering the hardware that is built on this laptop. It’s also expected that the Precision M3800 will take on MacBook Pro when it is released. Let’s just see if by then if the Dell Precision M3800 is better, and if it’s a MacBook Pro killer.
