Asus Zenbook NX500 4K Ultrabook – See Features and Specifications
Asus, earlier this month (during Computex 2014), introduced their latest ultra-thin 4K Ultrabook – the Asus Zenbook NX500. The new Zenbook NX500 features an all-aluminum chassis that measures only 19mm thin. It features Asus VisualMaster display technology and has the world’s first 15.6-inch 4K UHD (ultra-high-definition) touchscreen using 3M™ QDEF (quantum dot enhancement film) technology for more natural and vivid color reproduction. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7 Quad-Core Haswell Processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M discrete graphics processor. Check out the rest of its features and specifications.

Asus Zenbook NX500 4K Ultrabook Features
The Asus Zenbook NX500 is actually the non-ROG version or “cousin” of the Asus ROG GX500. Both of them have a 4K UHD display, same ultra-thin, and light body design, but the NX500 is geared towards the general consumers who are focused more on productivity, multimedia, and the likes.
It has a 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen display, with 178-degree wide viewing angle, and a whopping 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160) giving you more detail and more space to work with, compared to a 1080p display. The Zenbook NX500 features ASUS VisualMaster display technology, which ensures incredible detail, clarity, accuracy, and vibrant color. Asus is also using the 3M™ QDEF technology, which uses quantum dots to enable an ultra-wide color gamut of 100% NTSC, 108% Adobe RGB, and 146% sRGB. This means that NX500 can display an unprecedented range of colors and hues, making all images richer and more vivid.
Under the hood, the Asus Zenbook NX500 is powered by a 4th Generation Intel Core i7 Quad-Core processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M discrete graphics processor with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory to drive its 4K display. And since it has a GTX-level discrete GPU, gaming is very much possible with this Ultrabook. The NX500 uses a PCI-E x4 SSD up to 512GB capacity, or up to two SATA 3 SSD, that can be configured in RAID 0 for ultra-fast read write speed.
The Asus NX500 4K Ultrabook also features the next generation Broadcom Dual Band three-stream 802.11ac WiFi, with integrated Bluetooth 4.0. It also has three USB 3.0 ports for those extra peripherals. Aside from the fast connectivity options, it features SonicMaster Premium audio with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology, providing you with deep bass and crystal-clear vocals, with a wider frequency range and higher volume levels than ordinary laptops.
