Asus Transformer Pad TF701T Features NVIDIA Tegra 4 and 2560×1600 IPS Display
Asus has recently announced and revealed (during the IFA 2013) the Asus Transformer Pad TF701T, successor to their Transformer Pad series Android notebook/tablet convertible. Not only does the device comes in a portable and compact design, but it’s also built with cutting edge features such as a 2560×1600 IPS display and is powered by the latest high-performance NIDIA Tegra 4 Quad-Core processor. Check out more details below, and watch the video preview of the TF701T below.
The new ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T features a 10.1-inch high-performance IPS display with IGZO-TFT technology, offering reduced energy consumption and a very wide color gamut. The 2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution gives an extraordinarily sharp image, while IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology ensures accurate color reproduction, wide 178-degree viewing angles, and excellent daylight visibility.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF701T is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and a 72-core GeForce GPU, providing great entertainment experience with HD movies and the latest Android games. Miracast Wi-Fi video streaming means the new ASUS Transformer Pad can mirror its display to a compatible HDTV for big-screen entertainment without cables, while a wired HDMI connection can drive a 4K Ultra HD display for truly immersive enjoyment.
The new ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T also features a front 1.2-megapixel camera for crystal-clear video chat and a rear 5-megapixel camera that captures full-resolution photos while shooting simultaneous 1080p Full HD video. Zero shutter lag means photos are always captured at the right moment, while HDR (High Dynamic Range) and intelligent face enhancement give great shots, every time.

The new ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T is more than just a high-performance tablet – it’s also an extremely capable Android laptop, thanks to its Mobile Dock. The dock’s full-size keyboard with a large multi-touch touchpad makes the new Transformer Pad TF701T perfect for productivity apps and the Microsoft Office-compatible Polaris Office suite is supplied pre-installed.
The dock has a USB 3.0 port that adds support for the latest next-generation SuperSpeed storage devices, while its own built-in battery extends the Transformer Pad TF701T’s battery life from 13 to 17 hours. The dock also features an SDXC card slot that complements the tablet’s own microSDXC card slot.
The new ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T also has an optional protective TransCover case with a durable synthetic screen cover and a hard shell rear. TransCore also has a folding cover that props up the screen at a comfortable angle for on-screen typing and watching the video.
