Apple MacBook Pro with Intel Haswell Review

Want to buy Apple MacBook Pro There are a lot of people still waiting for the arrival of Apple’s MacBook Pro 2013 powered by the latest 4th gen Intel Haswell processor. Its little brother, the MacBook Air 2013, was fortunate enough to have Intel Haswell processors inside them since June. Meanwhile, the latest reports claim that Intel Haswell powered MacBook Pro is coming this September. That’s next month already!

Apple MacBook Pro

Based on the previous reports, the upcoming MacBook Pro 2013 will be powered by a Haswell-GT3 based silicon with an integrated graphics processor. According to leaked MacBook Pro 2013 benchmarks, the processor is likely to be an Intel Core i7-4950HQ quad-core processor, clocked at 2.40GHz with 6MB cache, and is paired with a 16GB of RAM.

The Core i7-4950QH comes with an integrated Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200. Because of this, it is still uncertain whether the upcoming 15-inch MacBook Pro 2013 will have a discrete graphics processor or will rely on the integrated GPU. Or perhaps it would use both, switching from integrated to discrete depending on the application.

The upcoming MacBook Pro 2013 was also benchmark using GeekBench with the specs mentioned above. It scored 12497, a significant improvement compared to the previous generation which scored only 9037 in GeekBench.

There is still much to know about the new MacBook Pro. Let’s just wait for it to be officially released before concluding anything.
